NEEDLE EPILATION
Electro epilation aka Elektrolysis

DIFFERENCE TO OTHER METHODS
Needle epilation is a procedure for permanent hair removal*. Many technologies in this field work with light or laser. In this case, the emitted light pulse is transported via melanin to the hair root. These methods are optimal for hair structures that contain a lot of the pigment just mentioned. However, this is often not the case with very light, white or reddish hair. Consequently, the hair follicle cannot be heated and the treatment ends with an unsatisfactory result of permanent hair removal*.
A method that, despite this obstacle, manages to permanently* rid even very light, red and white hair types of hair is needle epilation.
THE TREATMENT
PROCEDURE
During needle epilation, each hair is removed individually by its root. For this purpose, a very fine and sterile needle is inserted in the affected area and pushed up to the hair root. Then an electric pulse is sent directly into the hair follicle, destroying it. This procedure finally prevents hair regrowth and enables permanent hair removal*. Finally, only the hair is finally removed with tweezers.
AREAS OF APPLICATION
Another advantage of needle or electroepilation is its precise and punctual execution. As a rule, the electric pulses are sent directly to the affected area. They affect only the hair root without damaging the surrounding skin. It is therefore particularly suitable for areas marked by tattoos or birthmarks.
This method is also well suited for particularly small areas of the body.

WHAT TO CONSIDER BEFORE
THE LASER TREATMENT
It is important that your hair has a minimum length of 2-3mm during the electro-epilation treatment. This way, any affected hair can be removed without difficulty with the help of tweezers. So, it is not recommended to wax or epilate them beforehand.
Moreover, needle epilation proceeds in successive stages. This is mainly due to the growth cycle of the hair, because only in the active growth phase can the hair be permanently* removed. So, during each treatment, a specific area is epilated, which will be retreated at your next appointment. This is the most effective way to get the areas in question hair-free.
AFTER THE TREATMENT
For up to 72 hours after your needle epilation treatment, you should also protect yourself from excessive heat or wetness. Visits to the swimming pool or sauna should therefore be postponed. Extreme UV radiation on the treated area should also be avoided for 6 weeks if possible. At best, the skin on these areas should be covered with a sunscreen with at least SPF 30. Furthermore, we advise against using cosmetic products for 72 hours.
