THE OPERATING PRINCIPLE OF PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL
Our widely used XENOgel Technology is a painless procedure of photoepilation. With this method, sensitive and small parts, such as the genital area or the upper lip, can be treated effectively and gently. Generally, the greater a contrast between skin and hair is the more advantageous for the procedure. Thus, people with a lighter skin type and hair generally need more sessions.
The melanin, a skin pigment, passes on the light impulse to the hair root. With the XENOgel Technology each hair root is warmed and thus denatures the contained protein. The follicle stem cells are also treated with this method, which prevents a regeneration of the hair root. The prerequisite for this procedure is an existing connection between the hair shaft and the root.
